Victoria Miro Gallery
In
its sixteen year existence, the Victoria Miro Gallery has launched
the careers of British artists such as Turner Prize winner Chris
Ofili who is representing Britain at the 2003 Venice Biennial, enfants
terribles Jake and Dinos Chapman and Peter Doig.
In addition, the gallery has introduced to a British audience some
of the most distinguished artists from abroad such as Thomas Demand
and Andreas Gursky from Germany, Californian Doug Aitken, Yayoi
Kusama from Japan and Australian artist Tracey Moffatt . The gallery
also represents Inka Essenhigh and Brazilian Adriana Varejão, making
for a very colourful, truly international mix of artists.

to realise installation projects, and exhibit their work. VTO has
a 1,500 sq ft gallery space, situated on the 1st floor of an east-end
warehouse in London.
